Why did you run for office?

This is the first time I have been involved with student government and I am starting to do that and I am learning. I wasn't involved with student government but I was involved with SLI [Student Leadership Institute] and I was interested in becoming more involved with the life of my college.

What do you want to see BSGA do this year?

I learned that we have a pretty limited student government because we are a community college. I would like to see more students involved in everything. Many students come and go because it is community college, but I think it would be great to do lots of events and get people involved.

What are your plans after Brookhaven?

I am planning on attending SMU, but I am still deliberating with my husband. I want to transfer next year, but he says I won't have time.
