Position: President
Major: Public Policy
Why did you run for office?
I wanted to get involved and originally I didn't know if I wanted to run or not because it is my freshman year at Brookhaven, but after talking to Yasaman [BSGA adviser] about it I realized everyone is new. I wanted to be more involved and now I really get a say in things. I think I am a pretty good leader for everyone else.
What do you want to see BSGA do this year?
Traditionally, student government does a lot of community service but I have heard it wasn't very active last year. So, I plan to become very active and a big part on campus. I have had a lot of people come up to me with complaints so I want to adjust what students want.
What are your plans after Brookhaven?
I want to transfer to Southern Methodist University because they have the Cox School of Business and I want to minor in business and they are also very well known.
